I established Accounting Assistance in 2006 to provide quality affordable accounting assistance to other businesses in the Penzance area.

Having previously worked in industry for many years, when in employed practice, I became concerned about the quality of book keeping being presented and the lack of trading information available to business owners during the year in order to manage effectively.

In these tough economic times when business owners are struggling to maintain a turnover, finding time to do the book keeping too can be difficult. Financial information that is kept up to date is vital, not just for the completion of regulatory returns such as VAT, but to monitor the progress of your business during the year and help you to make management decisions. You may need this information to present to your bank or other financial institution.

My current clients are benefiting by receiving my assistance on a part-time basis, some just need a couple of hours a month, others need a few hours a week, but not long enough to employ someone directly themselves.
